If we think about it, nothing dies. As believers, we leave our earthly vessels and get new ones, but we don't die. We leave our earthly vessel because it can no longer sustain life. We are life, so we move on to another body that can sustain eternal life. Some things go dormant, but they show signs of life again once the environment is right. It happens not only with the plants but also in our relationships, careers, and even within us. Just because something is dormant, we should not treat it as though it is dead. And there are times when things are dead, the vessel containing it can not continue. We need to allow those things to move on to a better vessel that can sustain life. When things die, they not only give way to new life, but they produce more fruit.
