It seems like it would be a no-brainer. As believers, we know death has lost its sting according to 1 Corinthians 15:55 (NET): "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" Yet sometimes, when someone close to us dies, we still feel it. We feel the pain even though we know God's word to be true.
