The Epiphany

God Wants to Talk to You Directly

Jeremiah 33:3 (NLV) ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you. And I will show you great and wonderful things which you do not know.’

There are moments in our walk with God when He whispers something so simple—but so profound—that it changes the way we approach Him.
Recently, in a quiet moment, the Lord impressed something on my heart:

“I want a direct connection with each one of My children.”

Not secondhand revelation.
Not borrowed faith.
Not mediated conversations.

A direct line.
A clear connection.
A daily relationship.

This devotional explores that epiphany and the invitation God extends to every believer:
Come to Me. Hear from Me. Sit with Me.

🌱 The Danger of Secondhand Spirituality

We live in a world saturated with Christian voices—sermons, books, reels, clips, devotionals, and constant encouragement.
All of these are beautiful gifts… but they are not the Source.

It’s possible to be full of spiritual information
and still starving for divine revelation.

Books can supplement your walk.
Messages can support it.
Teachers can guide it.

But only God can anchor it.

He never intended for you to have a relationship through someone else.

🌱 Even Seed in the Closet is an Appetizer — Not the Meal

This podcast and devotional are designed to refresh and reaffirm your faith.
But here’s the truth:

Seed in the Closet is just a foretaste.
It’s the appetizer.
The weekly nudge that points you toward a daily, personal conversation with God.

What you hear from me is meant to awaken what God wants to say to you Himself.

I’m not your mediator.
I’m not your translator.
I’m not your spiritual go-between.

I’m simply here to stir your appetite
for the One who wants to speak to your heart directly.

🌱 Christ Removed Every Barrier

In the Old Testament, access to God was limited.
Priests mediated.
Prophets relayed.
People approached God through someone else.

But when Jesus died, the veil was torn from top to bottom.

The separation was removed.
The distance was closed.
Access was restored.

Through Christ, you inherited:

• Direct access
• Direct communication
• Direct revelation
• Direct relationship
• Direct fellowship

This is your spiritual inheritance.

🌱 Yes, Prophets Still Exist — But…

Scripture tells us God still uses the office of prophet and the gift of prophecy to edify, encourage, and strengthen the body.

But prophets cannot replace your personal relationship with God.
What the Holy Spirit wants to speak about your decisions, your healing, your identity, your purpose—
He wants to speak to you directly.

🌱 The Real Question: Are We Listening?

Many believers have mastered talking to God—praying, asking, crying out.

But listening?
Stillness?
Quieting the noise long enough to hear?

That’s the part we often neglect.

Prayer becomes a monologue…
But with meditation, we can have authentic dialogue.

🌱 Try the 5-Minute Encounter

Here’s a simple daily practice to open your heart to God’s voice:

1 minute — Sit in silence.
1 minute — Ask: “Lord, what do You want me to know today?”
1 minute — Listen.
1 minute — Write what you hear (it should align with Scripture).
1 minute — Thank Him.

Do this for one week.
Watch how God meets you.

🌱 Reflection

• Am I living on borrowed revelation?
• Do I listen to God as much as I talk to Him?
• Have I relied on others to tell me what God is saying?
• What would my walk look like if I made space to hear from Him truly?

God is speaking.
Not just to the masses—
but to you.
